Tube Bead Roller Set 1. This set will help you get consistent tube beads in two diameters, 7mm and 9mm. Use the top of this 2 piece set to roll a tube of clay on your own work surface.
Place the tube on the base, then use the top to roll the tube on the base that has lines inscribed in it. One side of the base has lines 5mm apart and the other side has lines 7mm apart. This allows you to make 7 or 9 mm diameter tube beads that can be either 5mm or 7mm long.
It is easy to shape a length of a polymer clay tube into a teardrop, square, rectangle and other shapes using the roller top only. These beads can be cut from the tube at the lines after the tube has been cured but while still warm. The clay is soft enough to cut through for the first few minutes out of the oven. It would be much more difficult once the clay cooled; however it could be re-heated if necessary.
The top of this versatile tool can be used to flatten any bead shape to the thickness of the pegs on either side of the roller top. The top alone is also very handy for rolling polymer clay canes to a specific diameter. The base can be used to add line texture to clay, lines, squares, diamonds, etc.
