5mm Black Oxide Plated Nickel Free Crimp Cover. Use these to cover up unsightly crimps. Secure your crimp using a little more slack than normal to accommodate the crimp cover.
We recommend using Bead Crimping Pliers to gently squeeze the cover*. Place the Crimp Cover in the rounding part of the pliers, gently slide the Crimp Cover over the crimp and gently squeeze the pliers to close the Crimp Cover. Watch out to make sure it closes uniformly. It may be necessary to slightly close the seam to prevent the cover from sliding off the crimp. When you're done it looks like a 5mm bead. Note: This size is suitable for 2-2.5mm size crimps.
*by gently using a Crimping Tool you'll prevent the finish from flaking off.
