Kato Polyglue is 99.9% pure CA (cyanoacrylate) glue. Available in a clear low odour flexible version, this instant bonding glue is perfect for adhering clay to clay, clay to metal and clay to rubber cord (Buna). Both versions are packaged in large 1 ounce bottles. Most other brands are only .1 to .3 of an ounce!
We're offering the low odor clear Polyglue in kits. The kits are composed of:
1 ounce Low Fog, Low Odor Kato Polyglue
A screw on tip
A set of fine tips with adaptor
A color changing dessicant pack
CA glue degrades when it is exposed to direct sunlight and humidity. To prolong the life of your glue, place the bottle in a glass or food safe plastic jar. Drop the dessicant pack in the jar and seal it up. Eventually, the dessicant pack will change from blue to pink. This color change indicates that the silica has absorbed all the moisture it can. To dry the dessicant pack, simply microwave for 1 minute at a time (total 2 minutes) to dry it out. At this point the color will return to blue. Now, it's ready to do its job again.
The fine tips can be cleaned after use by immediately dropping them in isopropyl alcohol or acetone (nail polish remover). Swirl the tip in the liquid and it will begin dissolving the glue in the tip. Make sure that the tips are completely dry before using them again. Clean them immediately afterwards.
